The difference between drag conveyors, scraper conveyors and flight conveyors largely depends on whether the chain links have obvious flights or paddles attached. In a drag conveyor, the chain moves the material directly, while a flight conveyor uses a series of wood, metal, or plastic flights attached to the chain at regular intervals, which push the material along the trough.

Performance features

TGSU drag conveyor is generally applicable for conveying powdery material, its bottom is a welded U-type structure, and drag  is made of engineering plastics, which is of low noise, less wear, no residues and long service life; 

TGSS drag conveyor is generally used for conveying granular material, its bottom is connected by bolts, drag  is made of engineering plastics, which is of low noise and less wear; base plate and side plate can be conveniently replaced and service life is long; 

It is of simple structure, less floor area and convenient installation, can be used on a narrower place with no special requirements on working environment;  

Running is safety and reliable, operation and maintain are easy and convenient with no complicate control technology; 

Sealing performance is good, material is conveyed in sealed trough with no splashing and leakage, it is dust proof, water proof and explosion proof, so that pollution on material can be avoided, working condition of workers is perfected and environmental pollution is avoided; 

General cleaning

-It is important for safety operation to keep the places with flammable dust clean.

-Don’t place the bagged or bulk materials among the machines.

-All the conveying equipment, cyclone separators and dust collectors shall be kept in good condition to prevent dust emission to surrounding area. Seal the pipes and covers especially. 

-Clean different kinds of dust frequently and completely to reduce risks from dust explosion.

-No deposited dust on the motors.

Regular inspection and maintenance

Regularly check all the main shafts and bearings equipment for their function, at least once a week, and fill with lubricating oil regularly, so as to avoid any heat generation.
