Application
SLHY horizontal ribbon mixer is suitable for mixing farinaceous materials feed mills, enabling the even distribution of ingredients in the mash mixture, and ensuring the quality of formula feeds.
Features
SLHY mixer is a horizontal batch mixer, which has the following features:
- New structure of the rotor, good mixing homogeneity and free of dead areas of mixing operation;
- Adjustable clearance between rotor and casing, and the full bottom discharge gate with little residues;
- Double wallboards design for both ends of the machine body, avoiding material leakage at both ends of the shaft;
- Pneumatic type (electric type also available) discharge gate with more accurate and reliable actions and better sealing performance;
- Built-in oil application pipes; reasonable general structure, fine appearance as well as easy repair and maintenance.
Main structure
The mixer consists of a rotor, a machine body, a discharge gate, a discharge control mechanism and a liquid application pipeline, etc.
Rotor
The rotor consists of ribbons, a shaft, a circular ring and a support lever etc. The ribbons are divided into an internal spiral and an external spiral, which are in left-handed and right-handed rotation respectively. When the rotor rotates, the left-handed ribbon pushes materials forward from one end to the other, while the right-handed ribbon pushes materials to move in a reverse direction. Through such continuous stirring and convection actions, the materials get mixed evenly. Scrapers are welded to the support lever of the external ribbon at the two ends of the rotor, where it is close to the internal wall of machine body. With these scrapers the materials in the four corners of the trough can be sufficiently mixed.
